DueIn (“the app”) shows live Dublin-area bus departures at stops you choose. This policy explains what data the app uses and how it is handled.

Who we are

Data we collect and use

• Selected bus stop — stored on your device (for example in local app storage) so the app can reopen your last stop.
• Location (optional) — only if you allow location permission. Used to estimate walk and drive time to the selected stop. Location is read on the device to request routing; it is not sold or used for advertising profiles.
• Network usage — the app contacts third-party services to fetch live departures (National Transport Authority GTFS-Realtime), static timetable data when needed, and open routing services for travel time estimates.

What we do not do

• No account sign-in is required.
• We do not sell your personal data. The app does not include third-party advertising or analytics SDKs for tracking.
• We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13 through the app.

Data retention

Preferences on your device remain until you clear app data or uninstall the app. Live departure requests do not require us to store your identity.

Your choices

• You can deny location permission and still use departures at stops.
• You can clear app storage or uninstall the app at any time to remove locally stored preferences.

Changes

We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised policy.
